INITIAL MANAGEMENT OF BURN PATIENTS (EMS)
ON SCENE
Remove patient from source of injury
Give Oxygen (mask)
INITIAL MANAGEMENT
Quickly assess patient's conditions
Cool down burn wound for 15 minutes with tap water and then keep the patient warm
Place a drip in peripheral vein and give Ringer's Lactate
TRANSPORT TO FACILITY
Keep registry of patient's vitals
Keep registry of fluid intake
